- Really? This is my life? I'm a 43 year old child adrift in a strange world I had skipped past in my previous life. I gave all of who I am to that first life as a teenage father rushing into adulthood, a job, a house, a family - while all of my friends and contemporaries where just dipping their toes in the deep end. And now with my kids all grown up and out into the world I find myself back where it all started. Truly nothing more than a scarred 17 year old trying to figure out what love, life, and relationships are all about.
